Description
Is a shotgun your weapon of choice for defending your castle? It certainly beats one of those little metal pronged corn on the cob holders. A shotgun on its own isn’t going to impress a home invader very much, however — you’ve got to have a shell in it like this one from Winchester’s Defender line of ammunition to expect the full effect.
rThis shell is loaded with a one ounce segmented rifled slug. The slug splits into three pieces on impact, giving you the accuracy of a single projectile with terminal performance more like what buckshot would have provided. The three ensuing wound channels are extremely deadly, just the sort of way to let someone know they tried to steal the wrong flat screen.
rWinchester gave this shell a black hull which you can easily identify it by at a glance. Its propellant charge gives it a fast 1,600 fps muzzle velocity, making it especially accurate and plenty potent at the moment of impact, even if your target happens to be farther away!
