rThis cartridge sports the XRG bullet – a solid copper hollow point of Sellier & Bellot’s own design. Clean-shooting copper is roughly 80 percent as dense as traditional lead, hence this round’s light 100 grain projectile. The round’s extremely high resultant muzzle velocity provides the flat trajectory which simplifies aiming, but the lightweight SCHP also effectively lessens felt recoil at the same time.
rCopper may be less dense than lead, but it is a much tougher metal. The SCHP exhibits virtually zero fragmentation during penetration of barriers and soft tissue alike, hence its ability to reach a consistent depth within the latter. Its nose cavity ensures that the SCHP folds out five plow-like talons which together inflict a grievously wide wound channel in soft tissue.
rThis ammunition is loaded in the Czech Republic with premium reloadable brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder. Good for compact and full-size handguns, as well as PCCs!
