Description
This 7.62×39 cartridge is a great choice for target practice, yet its 124 grain soft point bullet is also well-suited for self-defense. When an SP bullet meets resistance from soft tissue following the moment of impact, it rapidly begins to deform and rotate to inflict an even nastier wound channel. And with its muzzle velocity that’s far faster than the speed of sound, this bullet packs a lot of energy downrange to make its terminal effect even more staggering still.
rTula’s name stands for affordable ammunition thanks to steel. By utilizing that metal instead of brass for their casings, they get to pass a lot of savings on to you. Tula takes the extra step to help their casings feed and extract smoothly by applying low friction polymer to them. These rounds have non-corrosive Berdan primers, too, so you won’t have to scour your bore with special cleaning solutions after the fact.
rTake caution, though, that these rounds’ casings won’t return to their original dimensions once fired, which alongside their double flash hole design precludes them from fun at the reloading bench.
