This affordably priced bulk ammunition is manufactured in Sirok, Hungary by Matra Provincial Metal Works (MFS). Founded in 1952, MFS originally manufactured ammunition for military use. However, the company has been producing loads for civilian shooters since the 1950s.
This new production 7.62×39 ammunition features 125 grain jacketed soft point projectiles. Soft points offer terminal mushrooming and energy transfer for whitetails and similarly sized game. These loads feature the same construction and exterior ballistic characteristics as their corresponding FMJ versions. Because they produce the same feel and point-of-aim, shooters can transition seamlessly from practice rounds to hunting rounds. These loads can also be used for target shooting and recreational plinking.
Each round produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 2400 feet per second and 1600 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Manufactured with progressive-burning smokeless propellants and reliable Berdan primers, this non-corrosive ammo is ideal for long-term storage. Each round is loaded in a zinc-coated steel case. The zinc coating provides smoother feeding and extraction when compared to lacquer or polymer coated steel and reduces wear on your firearm.
This ammunition is packaged in 20-round boxes with 1000 rounds per case.
