Description
Igman sticks to the basics. Now over 70 years old and headquartered in the nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igman loads 50 BMG, 30-06, 7.62x51mm, 9mm, and of course 7.92x57mm Mauser. If it sounds like we left something out, you’re right. Igman makes mean 5.56×45 ball ammo as well!
rThis cartridge is M193 spec, with a 55 grain full metal jacket projectile loaded to a muzzle velocity of 3,180 fps. The FMJ features a solid lead-antimony alloy core, with a tombac (i.e. brass) jacket. No part of the M193 bullet can draw a magnet, so you have a green light to take it to the range.
rThis isn’t military surplus that’s been chilling in warehouse in the Balkans for umpteen years. It’s brand new, with noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-igniting spherical powder. This ammo’s cases are brass, brand new and good as American-made. Igman heat-treated the brass without polishing it up afterward, which is the only reason why the cases’ necks are discolored.
