Description
True NATO spec 5.56×45 ammunition! This ammo was manufactured by Federal Ammunition in Anoka, Minnesota, and they’re perfect for getting in a little target practice with M16 and AR-style rifles alike.
rAt 55 grains, the M193 bullet’s weight offers optimal accuracy in conjunction with a 1:9 twist barrel. (You should still do just fine with 1:8 or 1:7, though.) The FMJ is the most basic of the basic when it comes to semi-auto rifle bullets, with a solid lead core and hard copper alloy jacket that ensures good feeding. There is no steel in this bullet; it is not magnetic. The M193 bullet does not expand in any sense of the word – but it does fragment, if it hits soft tissue at a high enough velocity.
rThis is true military grade ammo, with non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant. Those brass cases have never before seen the light of day – although they have got surface discoloration, that only proves they have been annealed so they can expand and contract more reliably. You get all 1,000 of these cartridges in one single box.
