rThis standard pressure cartridge’s bullet is a normal weight at 240 grains, completely steel-free and nonmagnetic, and safely compatible with lever-action rifle magazines. The total metal jacket won’t exactly kiss its target gently on the forehead before tucking it into bed, but it will not expand if it plunges into a soft medium. The TMJ does a couple special things during ignition thanks to its copper-encapsulated lead core, though. Not only will the TMJ prevent lead vaporization that accelerates barrel fouling. It will also prevent lead vapor from working its way deep into your lung compartments!
