Description
This is Speer’s Law Enforcement Gold Dot Duty 38 Special +P ammunition – precisely what Detective O’Houlihan keeps loaded in the little buzzer he stores in his ankle holster.
rMaybe you aren’t Detective O’Houlihan – or any sort of cop, for that matter. Doesn’t matter. You can still order this ammo and use it for self-defense.
rAnd you’d be wise to do so. This is top-of-the-line primo 38 Special +P ammo, loaded in Idaho with premium components and rigorously inspected for quality. Each round features the Gold Dot jacketed hollow point projectile, which has a true bonded jacket so as to prevent fragmentation during penetration of a barrier. That ensures the JHP stays intact enough to reach a threat’s most essential organs. The JHP also features a precision-formed nose cavity that undergoes extremely consistent expansion. It’ll increase in diameter by 60% before coming to a rest within ballistic gelatin.
rThis ammo is loaded with nickel-plated brass cases. They aren’t magic, but they will reduce friction to facilitate feeding in a lever-action rifle or extraction from a revolver. Note that this is +P ammunition. It accordingly achieves a high muzzle velocity (945 fps out of a 4†vented barrel), but also generates more chamber pressure than an antique is designed to handle. This ammo will work in all modern 38 Special and 357 Magnum firearms, but it will probably destroy an antique revolver (and injure whichever hapless mook happens to be holding it).
