This .38 Special ammunition from Magtech is a relatively light shooting load that can be used for both defense and target shooting. Each round in this bulk priced case of 1,000 fires a heavy 158 grain semi jacketed hollow point bullet at 807 fps. While not as powerful as a some defensive loads, this ammo produces low recoil and can be fired relatively quickly even in a compact revolver. The projectile’s flat head makes it a good choice for target shooting, as it acts like a semi-wadcutter and punches clean holes in paper; it also permits safe feeding in tubular magazines. These cartridges are loaded in Brazil and use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
