Description
Fiocchi’s Defense Dynamics line of ammunition isn’t just a smart solution for personal protection. These Missouri-made revolver/lever-action cartridges are also the bane of any coyote’s existence, and they’re not priced so high that they’d be a waste for regular target practice!
rThis cartridge is loaded with a 148 grain projectile, which is an appropriate weight for engaging a threat or ending a small game animal. The jacketed hollow point’s deep nose cavity and notched rim collaborate to unleash speedy expansion during high-velocity penetration. Its cannelure serves to keep the bullet planted securely in the case mouth, and its lack of any steel suits the bullet for target practice at ranges which block magnetic ammo at their doors.
rFiocchi’s clean-burning powder and noncorrosive Boxer primer push the bullet out of the barrel at a rate of 1,310 fps. At that rate the bullet’s short-range striking energy is about double the bare minimum recommended for defensive shooting. Once Fiocchi’s virgin brass case has been emptied, any handloader can fill it back up again.
