rThis magazine isn’t technically made for the AR-15. It is made for the Daewoo Precision Industries K2, which is the South Korean army’s primary combat rifle. The South Koreans are on our side, though, which is why they wisely designed their rifle to accept the same mag as our army’s M16. That way we can all share mags if we’re ever fighting the same war.
rThis is a rugged little number: heavy-duty steel, with a jet black finish that resists rust, and a steel spring that resists corrosion, and an anti-tilt follower that guides rounds into the chamber all nice and smooth like. Is it a PMAG? Sure isn’t. But will it let you dump 30 rounds of 5.56×45 (or 223 Rem) downrange in the blink of an eye? Yessir, it will indeed do that.
