If you’re taking your classic, tried-and-true 30-06 on a deep, backwoods hunt, you want to be sure your rounds perform when needed, even after taking a dousing rain or soak in a river. That’s why Hornady developed its Outfitter line of cartridges.
Every Hornady Outfitter round is topped with the company’s GMX bullet design, made from a solid copper alloy. This design, while being California-compliant, also ensures that hunters see uniform expansion, as well as significant penetration and weight-retention. Hornady touts a weight-retention of 95 percent or greater.
To protect the powder in each Hornady Outfitter cartridge and guard against corrosion, the cases are all nickel-plated, and the case mouths and primer pockets are coated with a waterproof seal.
Ammo Restriction
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase shotgun or rifle ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammuntion.
