Lantac RPS Ratchet Plate SystemThe Lantac RPS Ratchet Plate System is a quality of life upgrade that makes a huge difference when assembling your AR-15. This end plate and castle nut features a ratcheting system that negates the need for staking. The purpose of staking is to prevent your castle nut from backing off over time but requires you to permanently deform the metal, making it difficult to remove if you ever need to. With the RPS installed, it locks your end plate and castle nut together retaining it in place until you need to take it off. Taking it off I just as easy as installing it. All you need is your castle nut wrench to loosen it. The end plate features a QD sling attachment socket.
