rThe CX also features Hornady’s proprietary Heat Shield tip, which is made of heat-resistant polymer that prevents air friction from deforming its meplat. Collision with hide drives the tip into the nose cavity it sits upon, which is the precise moment the CX begins letting out deadly positive expansion.
