rSterling ammunition is made by Turaç: founded in Turkey in 1987, now a major exporter of shotshells and cartridges worldwide. They’re ISO 9001 certified, and they load ammo in accordance with C.I.P. specifications. That’s a European standard, although any American 20ga shotgun should handle these shells just fine.
rThis shell’s projectile is simple: a 3/4 ounce lead slug. The slug is rifled, which simply means it’s good for a smooth bore and a no-go for a rifled one. It does not have a hollow point, so it’s not equipped to expand as widely as other projectiles of its type. It is backed by a hinged plastic wad, which smooths out (but by no means eliminates) recoil.
rThis ammo is noncorrosive. Do not store it near open flames.
