Description
The 22 LR is a great “diet†cartridge – so low-priced that you won’t feel a twinge of guilt over firing a few hundred rounds in a few minutes. If you’ve got a lot of target shooting or varmint assassinations lined up on your calendar, just consider John M. Browning your right-hand man!
rThis round’s bullet is 10% lighter than average, and its muzzle velocity out of a rifle barrel is over 150 fps faster than the speed of sound. Its resultant flat trajectory makes it a fine choice if you like hitting very small targets dozens of yards downrange.
rA copper-plated bullet boasts better cosmetics, but that thin metal shell does also help to decelerate barrel fouling. A hollow point makes a 22 LR bullet an even bigger nightmare for small game. If you’ve got racoon creeping around your trash or a chipmunk tunneling his own mansion under your deck, a CPHP will set things straight.
rBrowning is an all-American ammo manufacturer. Brass cases, non-corrosive rimfire primers and clean-burning powder – they are all produced and assembled right here!
