rThis is a 3†shell. It stores not just one ounce of #4 steel shot, but also the powder it needs to push those hard, spherical pellets to a muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps. That’s nice and fast, so you’ll still get a flat trajectory and lethal terminal ballistics despite steel’s relatively lower density (8 g/cc, as opposed to lead which is 11 g/cc). The nontoxic shot is also fit for taking upland game on protected lands.
