rFirst things first: The MatchKing is not a hunting bullet, as it is not engineered for terminal expansion. The opening in the hollow point boat tail’s nose is only present because the bullet’s lead core was injected through it while it was still molten.
rThe MatchKing’s exceptional rotational stability is not solely the product of its form-fitted lead core. Each bullet’s jacket is drawn to a concentricity standard of ±0.0003†in maximum variation!
rThe MatchKing’s narrow meplat, flowing jacket profile and optimized boat tail all work in conjunction to raise its G7 ballistic coefficient to 0.295 (0.590 G1 BC). Expect the 140 grain HPBT to cross the 1,000-yard mark at a velocity of 1,639 fps, and to stay supersonic until just past 1,600 yards.
