rA Glock mag’s body is composed of two pieces. You’ve got your hardened steel insert, which gives the mag enough rigidity to function reliably and resist damage. You’ve also got your polymer shell, which absorbs impact without shattering or otherwise becoming any worse for wear.
rLeft. Right. Doesn’t matter which side your mag release button is on. This is a drop-free mag regardless. Glock’s high-visibility orange follower sits on the tip of a long-lasting steel spring. It’ll feel a bit stiff when you first start using it. Persist and you’ll break it in real nice. Keep an eye on the numbered witness holes running down the spine if you want to keep track of your shots!
