This 6.5 PRC cartridge by Hornady features a 147 grain ELD (Extremely Low Drag) Match projectile which owes its extraordinary degree of accuracy to a number of factors. Its patented Heat Shield tip is immune to the effects of aerodynamic heating, and thus maintains its pointed shape even as it exits the muzzle at a high velocity of 2,910 fps. Its secant ogive profile thoroughly streamlines its shape, as does its boat tail design which raises its ballistic coefficient to give it a flatter trajectory and greater resistance to wind drift. Finally, with its perfectly concentric AMP jacket, you have a bullet which you can count on to always find its target.
