Each of these 2-3/4 inch length shells consists of a high-strength, water-resistant hull which is reloadable after use. The high-brass shell is fitted with Winchester’s very own clean-igniting 209 primer and loaded using a one-piece hinged wad which helps reduce recoil and tighten patterns. Each round delivers 1 ounce of #4 size shot which is optimal for penetration into squirrels, rabbits, pheasants, and doves. Winchester hardens their lead shot in order to prevent flat-spotting for improved ballistics and flight characteristics.
