Description
We figure that 50 pounds of ammo is a good amount for one box to hold. A thousand rounds of 45 ACP is enough to let you shoot for as long as you’d like, whenever you’d like. Also, if the box was any heavier, OSHA would require that two guys lift it. We swear we can lift more than 50 pounds, but we’re sure not complaining about the rule.
rThis cartridge is made by Sellier & Bellot in the Czech Republic. Its 230 grain bullet is the FMJ you want for a range round, with a standard lead core and a copper alloy jacket. It will spare your barrel from leading, but it’s less suitable for self-defense than a hollow point (which Sellier & Bellot makes as well). This round’s 853 fps muzzle velocity is not significantly faster than what the standard issue military round calls for out of an M1911A1. Sellier & Bellot’s brass casings are always a fine choice for handloading, so see how much more life you can get out these 1,000 rounds before we can send you some more!
